1. Which issue will I receive if I subscribe today?

A. Each publication applies a certain cut-off date of which determines how many copies are to be printed for subscribers and retailers. A new subscriber will never receive the current issue out on the newsstands. You will be able to confirm your first issue and the onsale date for that issue by logging into the "My Account" section of the site 24hrs after receiving your Order Confirmation. If your subscription is not listed here, you can contact the publisher using the details provided on your Order Confirmation.

2. How long does it take for merchandise to be delivered?

A. Please allow up to 28 working days for delivery of all merchandise, including cookbooks and back issues.

3. There was a gift offer with my subscription. Will I receive the free gift with the first issue?

A. If a free gift applies, all merchandise is dispatched and sent to subscribers once the promotion closes. It will always arrive in a separate parcel to the magazine.

4. I do not live in Australia. How can I obtain a subscription?

A. You can subscribe from almost anywhere in the world and get your favourite publication* delivered directly to your door. Simply select the magazine you wish to subscribe to and follow all the prompts leading to checkout. You can also check out all postage charges by clicking on the more info link. Remember, these postage charges are in addition to the Australian subscription price.

5. How do I know if my order was successful?

A. An order confirmation will be sent to the email address in your account within 1hr of placing your order. Your order confirmation will advise the details of the subscriptions and amount paid.

6. What payment options are available through the Magshop website?

A. You can pay for your Magshop purchase via paypal, secure credit card or Magshop eVoucher.

7. How do I give a subscription as a gift?

A. You can indicate that the magazine subscription you purchase is a gift on the delivery details page.

8. I'd like to purchase a gift subscription for a friend. Is there a card I can send them?

A. We provide free eCards through the site that you can send at any time. Simply click on the "E-Cards" tab and fill in the details. You are provided with the option of emailing the card, or you can download and print it out. You will be given the option of sending an eCard after you have made payment of your gift.

9. I wish to purchase a gift subscription for a friend but don't want it to begin until September, is there any method of preventing any issues going out to the recipient? I don't want to spoil the surprise!

A. If you have indicated during the checkout process that the magazine you are buying is a gift, you'll be given the opportunity to select a future start issue where this service is available. Alternatively, you can submit a special request for this to occur by clicking on the contact us page to send an email directly after the subscription payment is processed.

10. I would like to change my address. How can I do this via Magshop?

A. Once you are registered as a Magshop customer, you can update all your address details whenever you need to! Simply log into the "My Account" section of the site. This will be active from 2-6 weeks depending on processing requirements.

11. I'm an existing Magshop customer. How do I find out how many issues are remaining on my subscription and when the next issue comes out?

A. You can log into the "My Account" section of the site to view your existing subscription information including remaining issues, last issue sent and the release date of the next issue. If your subscription is not listed here, you can contact the publisher using the details provided on your receipt.

12. I'm an existing Magshop customer. I think I may have missed an issue. What do I do?

A. You can contact our customer service here or by calling 136 116.

13. Often there are free gifts on the cover of magazines. Would these be included if I subscribed to a magazine rather than bought it at a store?

A. In some cases, the promotional "tip on" gifts are only available with in store copies. Subscribers receive magazine subscriptions at a reduced rate, receive free delivery anywhere in Australia, and often, receive a promotional gift at the beginning of their subscription, if available at the time of your order.

14. I currently have a magazine subscription however, I do not have a Magshop online access account. How do I renew my magazine subscription?

A. You will need to visit the "My Account" tab on this site and click on "Go", located in the "Access My Subscription Details" section of the page. At this point, you will be prompted to verify your identity and set-up a Magshop online access account.
NOTE: Magshop will need to verify your identity. Please ensure that you enter your Customer Number, First Name and Last Name exactly as they appear on your subscription cover letter or renewal letter, otherwise you will be unable to access your new Magshop online account.

15. I have attempted to renew my magazine subscription via my newly created Magshop online access account however, I am unable to access my account. Why am I having trouble accessing my Magshop online account?

A. This is most likely occurring because Magshop is unable to verify your identify and retrieve your subscription details. An email notification will automatically be sent to Magshop administration on your behalf requesting access to your subscription details. Once Magshop is able to verify your identity and retrieve your subscription details, you will receive an email prompting you to login to your new Magshop online access account using your email address and password. Once logged in, you will be able to renew your magazine subscription. If you are still experiencing access problems, please contact customer service.
