The way of the warlu, or Dreamtime serpent, is a journey through a rich and sacred region replete with natural beauty and teeming with natural wildlife. This north-western slice of WA is fringed by sparkling, sapphire ocean and vivid coral reefs. Inland lie plunging ruby-red canyons; rugged ranges; and cool, tree-lined oases. Swim with whale sharks at Ningaloo Reef, plunge into whispering gorges and ice-cold waterholes in Karijini National Park and gaze on the world’s largest collection of rock art at the Burrup Peninsula.
