If I order a Subscription today, what issue will I receive?
New print subscriptions receive the next available issue from the publisher, which in most cases will not be the issue currently on sale in retail stores. A delivery timeline guide for this is provided on each product page and it will vary based on the frequency that the magazine is printed.
Each publication applies a certain cut-off date of which determines how many magazine copies are to be printed for Subscribers and retailers of a particular issue. Your first issue delivered will depend on what part of this cycle your order is placed and processed.
Details regarding your first issue and the expected delivery date can be found by logging in to the My Account section of Magshop - please allow 24hrs after placing your order. If your Subscription is not listed here, please contact the publisher of the magazine whose details are provided on your Order Receipt email.
New digital subscriptions will receive the current issue, available straight away to download, once you have signed in to the title's app using the credentials provided within your order confirmation email.
Can I order a subscription as a gift?
Yes. To gift a Subscription select 'Gift Recipient' for the items in your cart that you wish to gift. A specific address form will appear for you to supply your gift recipient's details.
How can I notify a gift recipient of a subscription?
Once you have completed your purchase, you will see the 'Create an eCard' section at the bottom of your confirmation screen. Simply click this and complete the form to send an eCard to your gift recipient by email you can even schedule the date for them to receive it!
How can I pay for my subscription?
Magshop accepts the following methods of payment for all print & digital subscriptions, books and merchandise:
- Visa credit card or direct debt
- MasterCard credit card or direct debt
- American Express
- Magshop gift vouchers
Are my credit card details stored?
No. Are Media and associated development vendor are PCI DSS compliant, and we do not store customer credit card details in our database. Credit card tokens are securely passed to us by payment gateway provider, Windcave.
Why can't I delete my credit card?
You can delete your credit card once your card has been charged - this is currently an overnight process. This means, you can come back the next business day and delete your card. However, if you have an auto-renewal subscription, we do hold this token within our database, so that we can activate your next subscription term. If you have concerns with your credit card, please email our team at email@example.com and an agent can investigate for you.
How do I know my order has been successful?
On successful completion of your order you will receive an email confirmation of your order to the email address you nominated within your account registration process. This email will contain your order number and details of your purchase. If you order a digital subscription, it will also contain the instructions for downloading your digital subscription.
How long should I expect to wait to receive an email acknowledging that my order was successful?
Your order confirmation email should arrive within ten (10) minutes of completing your order online. If you do not receive anything after this time, please contact us for assistance.
I can't pick a specific title, am I able to purchase a gift voucher/card?
Yes. Magshop Gift Vouchers are perfect for the 'hard to buy for' or last minute gifts. Available in $20, $30, $50, $75 or $100 denominations, your gift recipient can then choose from over 300 titles.
Magshop gift vouchers cannot be used to purchase subscriptions with an "automatic renewal" price point or digital subscriptions. Magshop gift voucher are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase. Magshop gift voucher are non-refundable.
Delivery is all taken care of - once you've completed your purchase you will see the 'Create an eCard' section at the bottom of your confirmation screen to click, enter their email address and a short message and we'll generate an eCard that they will receive in their inbox. You can select a date for them to receive it or send it straight away.
I would like to purchase multiple, separate subscriptions, all different magazines and for different people. How do I arrange this?
Once you have chosen your titles, select 'Gift Recipient' for the items in your cart that you are gifting to another. The address form will change for you to supply your gift recipient's details.
If you are ordering multiple copies of the same titles to the same person and address, you can update the quantity in your cart for that title and only need to enter their details once.
