JULY 2607 – Subscription ROTY competition and Ace Hotel Sydney Giveaway
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Information on how to redeem offer forms part of these conditions of entry. By participating and redeeming this offer, the subscriber agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Entry
1. ROTY competition plus Ace Hotel Sydney giveaway and flights from your nearest capital city promotion commences on 15/06/2026 at 12:01am (AEST/AEDST) and ends at 11:59 PM (AEST/AEDST) on 19/07/2026 (“Promotional Period”). Savings are based on print cover price of $12.99 and digital single-issue price of $3.99.
2. You must be aged 18 years or over to enter. Entry is open to Australian residents only. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family and other persons associated with the Promotion are ineligible to enter.
3. Offer is subject to and automatic upon the correct use of a valid credit card and must be cleared for payment. Gourmet Traveller subscription rates may be subject to auto renewal, after the initial term the subscription may automatically renew unless cancelled. Cancel anytime.
4. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to redeem the offer. "Immediate family" means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
5. Each subscription purchase is classified as an entry with multiple entries permitted.
6. An entry must not be: (a) late; or (b) incomplete. Any such entry will be ineligible and will be discarded. Any entry that the Promoter deems otherwise inappropriate will be ineligible and will be discarded.
7. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
8. Any costs associated with entering the Promotion, including data costs, are the entrant’s responsibility.
9. For the purpose of this promotion the subscription gift donor/s (i.e. person buying the subscription), will be entered into the draw. Third (3rd) party subscriptions (i.e. whereby a person’s subscription is paid for by a corporate body) and free subscriptions will be deemed invalid. Any subscription that automatically renewed during the promotional period will also be entered into the draw.

10. To redeem the offer, bearer must newly subscribe or renew a Gourmet Traveller magazine subscription by one of the following ways:

a) Visit MAGSHOP.COM.AU/GTMAG or MAGSHOP.COM.AU/GTJULY and follow the prompts to purchase a minimum of 1 subscription of 1 issue to Gourmet Traveller magazine during the promotional period; or

b) Purchase a minimum of 1 subscription of 1 issue to Gourmet Traveller magazine by telephone on 136 116 quoting M267GMT, J267GMT, U267GMT, L267GMT, B267GMT, M267GMTQ, BW267GMT and F267GMT during the promotional period.

11. Every person who newly subscribes or renews their current subscription to the print edition of Gourmet Traveller magazine during the promotional period by either credit card or direct debit will have a choice of receiving:

a) Gourmet Traveller magazine via credit card auto-renewal and will receive 1 issue for $7.49 which will be initially deducted from the subscriber’s credit card, then a further $7.49 will be deducted from the credit card every 1 issue thereafter. The subscription will continue unless otherwise advised by the subscriber. Plus, the subscriber will go into the draw to win 2 tickets to our Restaurant of the Years Awards and a one-night stay at the Ace Hotel Sydney, plus flights from your nearest capital city, valued up to $1,400*.

b) Gourmet Traveller magazine via direct debit auto-renewal receive 1 issue for $7.49, which will be initially deducted from the subscriber’s nominated bank account, and then a further $7.49 will be deducted from their bank account every 1 issues thereafter. The subscription will continue unless otherwise advised by the subscriber. Plus, the subscriber will go into the draw to win 2 tickets to our Restaurant of the Years Awards and a one-night stay at the Ace Hotel Sydney, plus flights from your nearest capital city, valued up to $1,400*.

c) Gourmet Traveller magazine via credit card auto-renewal to New Zealand residents will receive the first 12 issues for $150.00, which will be initially deducted from the subscriber’s credit card, then a further $150.00 will be deducted from the credit card every 12 issues (12 months) thereafter. The subscription will continue unless otherwise advised by the subscriber.

d) Gourmet Traveller magazine – 12 issues for $155.00 to New Zealand residents.

e) Gourmet Traveller magazine via credit card auto-renewal to residents outside of Australia and New Zealand and will receive the first 12 issues for $390.00.00, which will be initially deducted from the subscriber’s credit card, then a further $390.00 will be deducted from the credit card every 12 issues (12 months) thereafter. The subscription will continue unless otherwise advised by the subscriber.

f) Gourmet Traveller magazine – 12 issues for $395.00 to residents outside of Australia and New Zealand.

12. Every person who newly subscribes or renews their current subscription to Gourmet Traveller magazine (digital edition) during the promotional period by credit card auto-renewal will receive:

DIGITAL SUBSCRIPTIONS
a. 12 issues of Gourmet Traveller magazine for $24.99, which will be initially deducted from the subscriber’s credit card, then a further $24.99 will be deducted from the credit card every 12 issues thereafter. The subscription will automatically renew and continue unless otherwise advised by the subscriber.

b. 6 issues of Gourmet Traveller magazine for $19.99, which will be initially deducted from the subscriber’s credit card, then a further $19.99 will be deducted from the credit card every 6 issues thereafter. The subscription will automatically renew and continue unless otherwise advised by the subscriber.

Competition Draw and award of prize
13. The competition draw will take place at Are Media Pty Limited, 54 Park Street, Sydney NSW 2000 on 20/07/2026 at 11.00 AEST/AEDST.
14. On the draw date, the Promoter will conduct a random draw to determine the winner from valid entries. If this process does not result in all prizes being awarded, the remaining prize(s) will be awarded in the unclaimed prize draw as set out below.
15. The first (1) valid entry drawn from all valid entries received will win the following prize:
• One (1) nights stay at the Ace Hotel Sydney on Monday 17th August, 2026 valued at up to $459 (in a Double,Double Room for 2 guests)
• $1000 cash prize to use towards flights/transport to the property
TOTAL PRIZE POOL $1,459 AUD

16. The winner will be notified by via email within seven (7) business days of the draw using the contact details provided in their entry. The winner’s name will be published on www.magshop.com.au on 30/07/2026.
17. The winner must take the prize as offered. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer.
Prizes
18. The prize will be delivered via email (to the nominated email of the subscriber provided at the time of their subscription or renewal) , and the winner contacted for electronic funds transfer (EFT) details for the cash part of the prize
19. Prize redemption is subject to availability and at the discretion of Ace Hotel Sydney
20. Prize itinerary will be confirmed and finalised by Gourmet Traveller marketing team and Ace Hotel Sydney
21. The prize does not include any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize, which are the responsibility of the winner.
22. In accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges that they may incur ongoing costs associated with the prize that are the responsibility of the winner.
General

23. Gourmet Traveller magazine is published twelve (12) times per year.

24. Any apple digital subscriber will require Apple Ios 15 or higher.

25. The subscriber can cancel their subscription at any time by calling Magshop on 136 116 8am-6pm (AEST/AEDST when applicable) Monday-Friday or emailing Magshop@magshop.com.au.

26. Each issue will be delivered to each subscriber separately throughout the subscription period. Gourmet Traveller magazine digital edition will be available for download from the Gourmet Traveller App on the on-sale date. Gourmet Traveller magazine print edition will be mailed to the subscriber separately throughout the term of the subscription.

27. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected subscriptions via mail. Due to tight production deadlines, the promoter cannot guarantee Gourmet Traveller magazine will reach each subscriber by post by the time it is available in store, retailer or newsagent.

28. If gift is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the gift with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any gift damaged in transit in the delivery of their gift.

29. If the subscription is a gift, only the gift donor will receive the gift. Gift will be delivered to the gift donor delivery address stipulated on the subscription. Only one subscription permitted per person. Please allow 6-8 weeks after promotion close date for the subscription and gift (if applicable) to be delivered. One gift per subscription.

30. This offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Renewing subscribers eligible to redeem this offer by way of payment stipulated in clauses 7 and 8 only. For renewals payment must be made prior to the end of their current subscription term.

31. The Promoter’s decision in relation to all aspects of this offer is final and binding on all who enter. No correspondence will be entered into.

32. By subscribing to this Are Media Pty Ltd magazine title you acknowledge that you understand that ‘tip ons’ and gifts that may be available with non-subscriber copies may not be provided with subscriber copies, depending on the sole discretion of Are Media Pty Ltd.

33. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.

Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.

35. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

Privacy:
36. The Promoter collects personal information (“PI”) in order to conduct the offer and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Redemption of the offer is conditional on providing this PI.
